One last friendly reminder of our drop off and pick up procedures. Please remember we are honoring all of our students' sensory needs by providing calm, sensory-friendly, drop off and pick up routines. Please refrain from loud music coming from your vehicle in the morning.

🌟Reminder!!!! Tomorrow is THE day! Please join us for our ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:00pm immediately followed by a community open house, ending at 2:00pm.

🌟We will be closing our doors from 2:00-3:00 in order to allow staff to prepare a sensory-friendly open house event for students and their families beginning at 3:00 pm.

For too many families, finding the right educational supports meant traveling outside of their community. For Lorain City Schools, that needed to change.

The Frank Jacinto School for Autism was created with a simple but powerful belief: we should change the environment to meet the needs of our learners, not expect our learners to fit into an environment that doesn't work for them.

This is more than a new school. It is a place where all students and families can feel seen, supported, safe, and at home.

⚾ Stomper Reading Challenge Celebration ⚾

Prize packs for our Stomper Reading Challenge winners are heading home this week.

Students who reached the HOME RUN level also earned a special trip to the Lake Erie Crushers game on May 28 at Forefront Field.

Parents will be notified by a flyer sent home and in Class Dojo.

HOME RUN readers will enjoy:
🎟️ A Crushers game ticket
⚾ A pre-game parade around the field
🍿 A free snack during the game

Parents: Please arrive by 5:30 PM for parade participation.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 PM.

We are proud of all of our readers and can’t wait to celebrate their hard work at the ballpark.
