Our first Pastries with Parents of the year is tomorrow morning at 8am in the cafeteria. We’ll have coffee & donuts, and time to chat with administrators and PTO.

Before Pastries with Parents, you are welcome to Walk Your Student to Class! But please be sure to leave the classroom before the bell rings at 7:45.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning!

Music on the Mountain is NEXT WEEKEND, and the auction is LIVE!

Be sure to visit MoTM.FairylandSchool.org to get your tickets!

Early Bird pricing runs through Friday and then ticket prices go up. While you’re buying those, go ahead and bid on some auction items too!

And don’t forget to your order your wig!

Hope everyone has had a great weekend!! A few reminders for morning carpool, before we start another week-
• please move quickly! Just one quick hug and send them on their way! It’s important to keep the line moving.
• if you park your car, be mindful of the carpool line. Do not stop the flow of traffic to pull out of your spot!
• if you are walking across the parking lot, please cross at the crosswalk with Mr. Zach!
• if you like to walk your student to the door, you could always park around Town Hall and walk from there. A little movement in the morning can be a great thing!!

We’ve had a great first week of school, and it’s time to start Hugs-on-the-Go!!

Beginning tomorrow, we ask that parents do not walk their students to class. We will have Falcon Friendly 5th graders ready to walk your student to the classroom, even carry breakfast if needed. Look for students wearing these buttons to help!!

If you’d like to walk your student to the front, please park and cross at the crosswalk- Mr. Zach will be on hand to help. Be mindful when leaving not to stop the flow of the carpool line! For those in carpool, we ask that you move quickly- a quick hug and back in the car!

Let’s keep the great mornings going with Hugs-on-the-Go.

✏️📝🖍️Can you help us fill the teacher’s closet?

Last year, the PTO created a special closet for teacher’s to grab supplies as they begin to run low in their classrooms. It is still well stocked, except for a few key items. As you are making last minute supply purchases in stores and on-line this tax free weekend, would you mind throwing an extra item in and help us fill up the closet? 

Here are a few of the high need 🍎items:

🍎Dry Erase Markers (black)
🍎Glue Sticks
🍎Kleenex
🍎Hand Sanitizer
🍎Ziplock Baggies

There will be a drop-off box out front at the PTO table during open house. We will leave the box near the front door for the first few days of school.

🎒✏️⭐️The countdown is on…it’s almost back to school time! 

We can’t wait to welcome our Falcons back for another amazing school year! 

Open House will begin next Monday. Come meet your teachers, check out your classrooms, and enjoy a special treat on us! 
•Pre-K: Monday, August 3 | 3:00-5:00pm
•K-5: Tuesday, August 4 | 3:00-5:00pm

August is jam packed with exciting events, so we have posted the monthly calendar. We are looking forward to our first Pastries with Parents on the 21st. And to wrap up the month, it’s time for everyone’s favorite adult-only event, Music on the Mountain. Fluff up those wigs and get ready for an unforgettable evening as we enjoy food, music, fun and fundraising for Fairyland! More details to come next week. 

You will receive lots of important information at open house, but don’t forget to keep an eye on our social media pages this week as we will have more announcements coming in preparation for our big week next week.

Lots of information has been coming from Fairyland School for the upcoming start of school, and we are so excited for a great year!

As school supplies and back to school clothes & shoes are likely on everyone’s mind, just a quick reminder that the Tennessee Tax Free weekend will be Friday, July 31- Sunday, August 2.

From their website-
Tennessee's traditional sales tax holiday on clothing, school supplies and computers begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2026. For 2025, the dates were Friday, July 25 through Sunday, July 27.

A couple of quick Field Day notes
•please feel free to come watch your children. K-5 will all be participating between 12-2:30!
•Complementary Snacks are being provided by the PTO
•Please send your students in a Fairyland School shirt, and preferable this year’s spirit shirt, if possible!
