What do our professors do in their free time? Dr. Robert Earle Barham, professor of English, spent time this summer working on his passion project: writing a novel.

"It’s a different kind of writing, and it’s an entirely new set of muscles that I’m not used to exercising. I’m still in the drafting phase. I try to write 1,000 words a day and follow the story to see where it leads."

Our professors are often found working on projects and research that benefit our students, our community, and the Church. We're thankful for their dedication to sharing their time and talents with us!

Happy Day of Prayer Scots!

The theme for Day of Prayer was He Who Fills My Cup. The day started out with a sunrise prayer service at Rock City. Students were encouraged to spend the day reflecting on Isaiah 55 which invites all to "come to the waters."

We're looking forward to Day of Prayer this week! Here are a few moments from last year as we prayer for this day of rest and reflection.
