Join us in praying for the family of Dr. Ken Austin who passed into glory on Monday, August 3. Dr. Austin taught American history at Covenant for twenty-two years (1972-1994) while also serving in the Navy Reserves. He retired from the Navy in 1992, after four years active duty and eighteen years as a chaplain in the Navy Reserves. He was an ordained teaching elder and most recently worshiped at Chattanooga Valley Presbyterian Church, where his memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 15th at 11:00am.

We enjoyed a breakfast yesterday with local alumni where Jenny Whitener, Executive Director of Brock Barnes Center for Leadership, encouraged us in our personal leadership development. A big thanks to the folks at HHM for hosting us!
