I've been trying to delete this page for the last thirty minutes, because I meant to create a "Group" rather than a Page. However, the settings for deletion aren't showing up yet so I'll just go with it. I figured having a group where everything is in one place would be beneficial for the next two years. Please help me invite parents/kids of Class of 2024; there were several that I didn't know or weren't on my FB list.
Leighton is our oldest so this is our first time dealing with Junior fundraising and planning Post Prom, so PLEASE feel free to chime in and let us know what we need to be doing.
I spoke with Jolene today and she hires the Junior class to help set up and tear down her weddings. She will pay us $500/wedding! I'd imagine this is our best fundraiser for Post Prom. Her first wedding is October 1st, Wyatt Wade & Savannah McAtee's wedding at Westgate in Odon, IN. We have two softball tournaments that weekend, but since Savannah is family, we will help tear down. Tennis sectional is also that week so we could be playing on Thursday. Jolene said she needs at least 10-15 people. With all that being said, please comment here if you're able to help with setting up on Thursday, September 29th (she doesn't have a time yet but will let us know as soon as possible) or cleaning up/tearing down Saturday, October 1st (again, no set time b/c it'll depend on when the reception ends).
Feel free to comment about other fundraisers you may have done with your kids that have already graduated or what else we should be doing for Post Prom.
