Ask your kids about A-C-T!
September was Su***de Prevention and Awareness Month, and Mrs. Fletcher spent time with our students talking about recognizing when a friend may be struggling and the importance of reaching out for help.
Students learned the simple but powerful message of A-C-T:
A — Acknowledge when a friend is struggling.
C — Care enough to take it seriously.
T — Tell a trusted adult.
Tonight, ask your child, “What does A-C-T mean?” It’s a simple conversation that could make a very important difference.
