This morning our Agent Trapper Padgett went to England Elementary to teach the EAST kids about the importance of soil sampling, how to take a soil sample, soil make up, and how to manage soil based on what you are wanting to grow!

These kids are getting to learn by interaction and a project the school is allowing them to do. They get to plant flowers in the bed leading into the school entrance. How cool is this? The kids had a blast and look forward to getting their hands dirty!

TOMORROW is the BIG day! The 4-H Poultry Chain Auction is at 3:30 at the Lonoke County Fair.
You will be able to purchase a pen of 3 Hyline Brown Hens.
ALL proceeds go right back to 4-H programs in Lonoke County.
You can also make donations.
We hope to see you all there!
