Hello, Facebook friendsāDr. Smith here.
I have an important announcement Iād like to share with you.
Over the past several years of pastoral ministry, Iāve noticed a deeply disturbing trend: a growing number of people experiencing demonic oppression.
I know that sounds provocative, perhaps even alarmist. However, throughout my travels around the country, Iāve spoken with more and more Christian leaders who are encountering the same issues.
Part of the problem in the United States stems from our continued drift from our Christian foundation. Consequently, weāve seen a steady rise in family crises, mental and emotional breakdowns, and personal brokenness.
Underlying all of this is a spiritual reality that torments people.
No matter how much I have counseled, preached, coached, or discipled, some people still seem trapped in a perpetual cycle of brokenness. I have seen this in my own ministry, and others have as well.
To help address this crisis, Iāve co-founded a program at Aidan called āInner Healing & Deliverance Prayer Ministry Certification.ā
Its purpose is to train Christian leaders and everyday followers of Jesus to pray effectively for people and confront the powers of darkness. The program's goal is not to be strange or sensational, but to equip Christians to serve confidently in this vital yet often misunderstood ministry.
At its heart are freedom and liberationāwords closely associated with the ministry of the Lord Jesus. Matthew 4:23 says Jesus preached the Gospel and healed the sick. That ministry did not end with the Ascension; it continues today through the Church.

The Apostle Paul said, āIt is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slaveryā (Galatians 5:1). Today, we as Christians must stand firmānot only for our own sake, but also for the sake of future generations.
