Milwee’s Student Government is selling Valentines for students and their families to purchase for $1 each on MySchoolBucks to have sent to their friends and loved ones! Each valentine includes a small valentine card (most come with a sticker/eraser/ pencil, etc.) and a piece of Valentine’s Day candy!

When purchasing your valentine the following information must be provided - who it is from, who is receiving it, and what teacher the person receiving the Valentine has for homeroom.

Sales end on Wednesday, February 11th and they will be delivered to homerooms on Friday, February 13th!

Milwee Spartans help us win the SCPS “Let’s get Circulating” challenge by checking out and reading library books now through March 12th. Media center will be available for book checkouts before school, during lunches and during SSR homerooms.

Our 7th-grade Civics students are participating in mock trials and learning about the trial process, courtroom roles, the functions of the judicial branch, and different types of law.

Congratulations Max Zambri who was celebrated at the Longwood City Commission Meeting where he was named the Longwood Juvenile of the Year (JOY) for Milwee MS.

The ‘Spartan’s Got Talent’ talent show (hosted by SGA) is looking for teachers and students who would like to showcase their unique talents on stage. Sign-ups will run until February 16th and information on when auditions will be held is coming soon. Students should use the QR code on the posters found around campus before school and during dismissal to sign up.

The event itself will be held on Thursday, March 5th in the cafeteria and tickets will be available to purchase for students and their families wanting to attend in a few weeks! Please email Ms. Austin with any questions you may have!
