Our 8th Grade graduates represented our school with excellence in speech and in the arts, demonstrating the gifts, talents, and character they have cultivated during their time here. As they prepare to enter a new season of learning and discovery, we celebrate the strong foundation they carry with them.

Our Senior Class shined brightly in character and honor as they said goodbye to familiar hallways and classrooms and stepped boldly toward the future God has prepared for them. Their leadership, perseverance, and commitment to living with purpose have left a lasting impact on our community, and we eagerly anticipate all that lies ahead for them.

Our Kindergarten scholars delighted and inspired us with magnificent performances that reflected not only all they have learned, but also the bonds they have built and the growth they have experienced throughout the year. Their joy, confidence, and wonder were a testament to a year well spent. Happy Graduation and welcome to First Grade!

“What are you most proud of this year?”
Last week, many of our K-5 scholars answered that question in one of the most meaningful ways possible not through a teacher… but through their own voices. 💙
Our elementary scholars proudly led their own conferences with parents, reflecting on their growth, celebrating progress, and sharing the goals they worked hard to achieve throughout the year.
And for many families, the experience was unforgettable.
Because there is something incredibly powerful about watching a child confidently say:
✨ “Here’s what I learned.”
✨ “Here’s where I grew.”
✨ “Here’s something that challenged me.”
✨ “Here’s what I’m proud of.”
These scholar-led conferences became so much more than meetings.
They became moments of ownership.
Moments of confidence.
Moments where scholars recognized that their growth mattered and that their voice mattered too.
At One School, we never wanted scholars to simply complete assignments.
We wanted them to understand themselves as learners, take pride in their progress, and grow into leaders of their own learning journey.
And judging by the smiles, reflections, and yes… a few proud parent tears 💫 these conferences accomplished exactly that.

Last week, our scholars took the stage for our Spring Band and Orchestra Concerts, and what filled the room was so much more than music. 🎶✨
It was courage, focus, teamwork, persistence, and confidence blooming one note at a time.
Every performance reflected growth:Practicing when it wasn’t easy.Showing up consistently.Learning to listen, trust one another, and contribute to something bigger than themselves.
For many scholars, this stage represented growth that can’t be measured on a test—confidence, discipline, creativity, and leadership.
And perhaps the most beautiful part was watching them realize they are capable of more than they imagined.
Bravo to our incredible band and orchestra scholars and the teachers who guide and inspire them every step of the way. 💙
The future sounds bright. 💫

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Their sacrifice is woven into the freedoms we often take for granted—the moments with family, the opportunities we pursue, the peace we enjoy each day.
On this Memorial Day, we honor not only their courage, but the love, selflessness, and legacy they left behind. We are deeply grateful for those who stood with unwavering strength so others could live in freedom. May we never forget the cost of that sacrifice, and may we live lives worthy of their courage. 🇺🇸

✨ Some brilliant minds were never meant to fit inside a traditional box.
At One School, we have met too many bright, creative, capable scholars who slowly began believing they were “bad at school.”
And we knew there had to be another way.
Introducing Land of Hope: a specialized learning pathway for middle school scholars with dyslexia.
A place where scholars are deeply known.
Where confidence is rebuilt.
Where different wiring is seen as possibility and not limitation.
Because middle school shouldn’t be where confidence is lost.
It can be where confidence begins to grow again.
Join us for an evening of vision, storytelling, and possibility as we unveil the future home of the Innovation & Leadership Institute + Land of Hope Dyslexia Program on May 26th.
✨ Tour the new campus
✨ Meet the team
✨ Experience the heart behind the mission

Some stages are made of wood. And some stages become the place where you finally find your voice. 🎤✨
Last Friday, we gathered for our last Open Mic—a celebration of courage, creativity, and the power of being seen and heard.
But open mic is never just about stepping up to the microphone. It’s about the scholar whose hands were shaking before they began… and the confidence they found by the end of their performance. The snaps, applause, and encouragement from a room full of peers. The bravery to share original words, music, stories, poetry, and pieces of themselves. The resilience to keep going after missed notes, nervous pauses, or forgotten lines. It’s about discovering that your voice has value—and that your story deserves space to be heard.
This year, our scholars didn’t just grow as performers. They grew as communicators, creators, leaders, and artists willing to take risks.
To every scholar who stepped into the spotlight, shared their talent, and made the room feel something—we are so proud of the confidence and courage you continue to build.
The microphone may turn off at the end of the night…
But the impact of finding your voice lasts far beyond the stage. 💙

Mrs. Maria Pagan embodies the heart of serving others with compassion, wisdom, and purpose. Through her work in our counseling department, she creates safe spaces where scholars feel known, supported, and reminded of who they are.
Her passion for helping scholars grow led her to develop our High School Psychology course, where scholars explore the mind, emotions, and personal growth through a lens of truth and faith while gaining tools to live a victorious Christian life.
Beyond campus, Mrs. Maria serves through her ministry, Around the Table, creating spaces where people are known, restored, and equipped, including her partnership with the Children's Home in our community.
For the love she pours into our scholars and the way she faithfully serves our community, we are honored to recognize Mrs. Maria Pagan as this year's Heart of a Lion

✨ Head of Lower School… reporting for duty! ✨
One of our Dream Doer Golf Tournament silent auction winners, Gyan, stepped into some very important shoes as Head of Lower School for the Day, and let’s just say, he absolutely understood the assignment. 💼📚
Between balancing his very important 1st grade responsibilities, Gyan spent the day reading to classes, writing encouraging notes to teachers, helping at Open Mic, and spreading joy all across campus. Leadership with kindness—we would call that a pretty remarkable day. 💜
We have a feeling Mrs. Hengehold enjoyed the extra help… and rumor has it she couldn’t have asked for a better boss to answer to. 😉✨
At One School, we love creating moments where scholars don’t just dream big… they get to practice becoming who God created them to be.
