🎉 Milwee Middle School Back-to-School Information 🎉

We can't wait to welcome our Spartans back for an amazing school year! Please review the important information below and save this post for easy reference.

📅 Schedule Pick-Up – Thursday, August 6 🟢 6th Grade: 9:00–10:00 a.m. 🔵 7th & 8th Grades: 10:00–11:30 a.m.
Families with students in multiple grade levels are welcome to attend during the time that is most convenient.
During Schedule Pick-Up, families can:
✅ Receive student schedules
✅ Learn about transportation, dining services, PTSA, SAC, school health services, PE uniforms, Skyward Family Access, and volunteer opportunities
✅ Become familiar with our campus before the first day of school
🏫 New to the area? Please encourage families who need to enroll a middle school student to complete online enrollment through the Milwee Middle School website.

🎒 School Supplies Supply lists are available on our website under Our School > Supply List. Students may also arrive with basic school supplies, and teachers will communicate any additional classroom-specific needs during the first week.

🏐 Milwee Athletics Tryouts • Boys Volleyball – Tuesday, August 18 | After school until 5:30 p.m. • Girls Volleyball – Thursday, August 20 | After school until 6:00 p.m.
⚠️ Student-athletes must submit a completed athletic physical dated after July 1, 2026 before participating in school sports.

💉 7th Grade Tdap Requirement Students entering 7th grade must provide documentation of the required Tdap vaccination before receiving their schedule or attending classes.

Families with missing documentation have already been notified.

📚 Summer Preparation • Complete the recommended Summer Reading assignment (see Academics > Summer Reading on our website). • Complete the annual Clinic Card and Parent Consent Forms in Skyward. These forms are required each school year.

⏰ Attendance School begins at 9:25 a.m., and students should be seated in class by 9:30 a.m.
Regular attendance and punctuality are essential. First-period tardies will result in school consequences unless accompanied by appropriate medical documentation.

🍎 Free & Reduced Lunch Families are encouraged to complete the annual application through Red Apple Dining. Applications must be submitted each school year. Existing Seminole County lunch balances will automatically transfer to Milwee Middle School.

🚗 Before & After School Supervision Morning supervision begins at 9:00 a.m. Students should not arrive before that time unless enrolled in Kid Zone.
Student pick-up times: • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday – No later than 4:30 p.m. • Wednesday – No later than 3:30 p.m.
👨‍👩‍👧 Families needing before or after school care may register through Kid Zone.

🏢 Front Office Procedures Students may be checked out by a parent or guardian; however, checkouts are not permitted during the final 30 minutes of the school day.
For campus security, the Front Office cannot accept: • Outside food deliveries • Cell phones • Overnight bags • Uber Eats or similar deliveries
Students who forget lunch will be assisted through Red Apple Dining Services.
🚙 Car Line Please pull forward as far as possible during drop-off and pick-up to help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.
👕 Dress Code Please review the Seminole County Public Schools dress code before shopping for school clothing.
📱 Student Electronics Personal electronic devices—including cell phones, smart watches, smart glasses, gaming devices, and other non-school technology—may not be used during the instructional day (9:30 a.m.–4:05 p.m., or until 3:05 p.m. on Wednesdays). Devices may be used before and after school.

🙋 Volunteer Opportunities Parents and community members are encouraged to become registered Dividends volunteers. Registration is required each school year.
