Dear Valued Customers,

We wanted to send a heartfelt last call before our summer closure.

Unfortunately, we have experienced another cracked crucible, and because of that, May 14th will be our last day open for the season. If you have been wanting to book a glassblowing appointment, please schedule soon before we close for the summer.

This situation is disappointing for us as well, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Our crucibles have not been lasting under the constant use and recharging required to keep the glass flowing, but we are already looking ahead and making plans for an even better season next year.

We are also exploring the possibility of offering other art classes in our studio space over the summer, so keep an eye out for updates.

Before we close, we would also love to see you this weekend at the Orlando Museum of Art for Art in Bloom.

6 Week Classes Starting Soon!

March 11th

Gather your friends, make new ones, and unleash your inner artist! Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced crafter, this course is designed to enhance your skills and ignite your creativity while providing a supportive environment for artistic exploration. This is your opportunity to learn the fundamentals of glass blowing working in a hot shop

We offer two types of glassblowing, both offered in a 6-week format.

1.Traditional Glassblowing: Learn to make big items like cups, vases and bowls in a team setting.

2. Torch Glassblowing (Lampworking): Master the art of creating smaller, more detailed glass pieces by manipulating glass with specialized bench torches designed for glassblowing.

We are starting the traditional glassblowing class Wednesday, March 11th from 6 PM to 9 PM. The cost is $800 per student, which includes comprehensive glassblowing instruction and an apprenticeship with practice time as part of the experience. Lampworking classes require a minimum of 3 people enrolled per workshop. For this class, please call or email with the days and times that work for you. Please note that the 6-week lampworking class has more flexibility and can be scheduled on nights weekends.
