Ms. Garcia's 6th grade art class at Pine Tree Middle School just finished working on their art portfolios!!

Students were challenged to write their name in a different font they liked and drew 6 things about themselves on it!!

Ms. Garcia PTHS Art 1 class- CD paintings

Students got to paint CD disc with acrylic paint for the end of the year. They used different art elements and principles of design they learned throughout the year to paint their CD. 💿 🎨🖌️

Ms. Boswell's 7th & 8th grade art classes created texture using thin sheets of aluminum, attached to a black background. Used prismacolor pencil to create designs.

Ms. Garcia Art 1- Georgia O'Keeffe Project made with chalk pastels

Students learned about Georgia O'Keeffe and her career as an American modernist painter. Students then picked out their favorite painting by her and drew the flower on a large sheet of paper (20x23) using proportion. They got to color and blend different chalk pastels using value to make their flowers.
