Does your child have an IEP? If so, you may be able to apply for a one time grant to purchase technology or educational supplies. Check out the pdses.tea.texas.gov website for more information.

Parents of students receiving special education services, this is for you.

The Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) program offers a $1,500 one-time grant to help support your child’s learning needs through educational goods and services.

The 2025–2026 application window is open April 1–30.

PDSES funds can be used for items like technology, school supplies, and sensory tools, as well as services such as tutoring, therapy, and more.

If your child receives special education services through an IEP and has not received this grant before, they may be eligible.

Be sure to create your My SPEDTex account ahead of time so you are ready to apply when the window opens.
