Yesterday, our Varsity had their first district match against Henderson.

A lot of hard fought matches going to tiebreakers yesterday, as we pulled through to a big 11-8!

Great way to start district play, as kids showed true work ethic and determination to not give up and fought their way through each match!!

🚌 It’s time to find your student’s bus information for the new school year 🚌

The Find My Bus link allows you to easily look up your student’s bus stop information, bus number, and pick-up and drop-off times.

You can access Find My Bus through the Parent tab on the PTISD website or on the Transportation page.

Help us welcome Chef Hill to the Pine Tree CTE team! 👨‍🍳🏴‍☠️

Chef Hill brings a unique combination of industry and teaching experience to our Culinary Arts program. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served as an aviation instructor before building a career in the professional culinary field, working as a chef, sous-chef, and nutrition consultant.

Chef Hill is also no stranger to East Texas culinary education. He led Longview High School’s Culinary Arts program for eight years before joining the Culinary Department at Stephen F. Austin State University.

At Pine Tree, he will primarily teach our first- and second-year dual credit Culinary Arts courses, while also supporting advanced courses and our competitive culinary teams.

We’re excited to bring Chef Hill’s industry experience, teaching expertise, and passion for culinary education to the Pirate family!

Help us welcome Ms. Walton to the Pine Tree CTE team! 🩺🏴‍☠️

Ms. Walton joins our Health Science Program, where she will teach Anatomy and Physiology at Pine Tree High School.

She comes to Pine Tree after teaching Anatomy and Physiology for several years in the Houston area. In addition to her classroom experience, Ms. Walton is a licensed paramedic and EMT, bringing valuable real-world healthcare experience directly to her students.

We’re excited to welcome Ms. Walton to the Pirate family and look forward to the knowledge and experience she will bring to our future healthcare professionals!
