Carol Archer Krause asks: Who was in the Pirate Band at Homecoming one year (1966 or 67 maybe), when someone in the stands blew a whistle as we were marching? It messed us all up and we were going all over the field until Mr. England got to the loudspeaker and gave the order, "Band, Halt One Two!" (I played piccolo in the marching band.)

The Pirate was just informed Google is accepting nominations from local city government and residents for fiber optics to the home. Google will select a few rural cities to lay fiber in. This could be a HUGE deal for Longview if we are selected. Click the link below to submit your nomination now and be sure to spread the message to all your friends & family!

PT has started a 'museum' of memorabilia that has been donated from alumni or salvaged from school archives. It is housed in the Pine Tree Road location that was the high school until 1969, Jr. High and most recently, Middle 7 campus. The Administrative Offices are now housed at this campus, as well as the PT Volunteer... Cent.er. Call Vickie Echols at 903-235-5136 if you would like to inquire about donating items!
