LHS Majorettes would like to invite all Preschool thru 8th girls to our annual Mini Camp!!! It will be on Saturday, September 21st at Lobo Coliseum from 9am to noon!! Please inbox for a registration form.... flyers will be also be available at all LISD schools!!!

Hello Lobos! Longview ISD is very excited to have your students back on campus Monday, August 19!

East Texas Montessori Prep Academy will begin at 7:30 a.m.(parent drop off will begin at 7 a.m.) and dismiss at 2 p.m. for bus riders (parent pick up will dismiss at 2:15 p.m.) After the first two weeks of school, ETMPA will dismiss at 2:45 p.m. each day.

All elementary campuses will begin at 7:50 a.m. (parent drop off at 7:15 a.m.) and dismiss at 3:15 p.m.

REVISIONS MADE: Middle School campuses will vary. Foster Middle School will start at 8:10 a.m., Judson Middle School will start at 8:15 a.m. and Forest Park Middle School will begin at 8 a.m. with homeroom and tardy bell at 8:30 a.m. (parent drop off begins at 7:30 a.m.) and dismiss at 4 p.m.

Longview High School will begin at 8:15 a.m. and dismiss at 4:05 p.m.

Longview ISD schools earned 40 total distinctions on accountability ratings, according to the Texas Education Agency. An increase from the 34 distinctions earned a year ago, and one of the highest number of distinctions for any school in East Texas.

Upon final approval at the Aug. 28th special meeting, average teacher salary for Longview ISD will stand among the highest in the East Texas region.
