The Kilgore College Surgical Technology Program is preparing to send four students on a surgical mission trip to Guatemala in July 2026 in partnership with Refuge International. Students will assist surgical teams, provide humanitarian support, and earn valuable clinical hours toward graduation requirements.

Community donations are being sought to help cover airfare, lodging, and meals for participating students.

Students and families should know if a postsecondary degree won’t help increase their future earnings.

That’s why ED is introducing a new earnings indicator on the FAFSA® form: to give students straightforward, reliable information as they consider postsecondary options.
