Just a quick flood!

It was taco day this past Tuesday at East Texas Montessori Prep Academy where we served farm fresh pinto beans and ground beef straight from Texas!!

Camp is over 😢 but my "Little Chefs" did a great job!! Again thank you to the parents and the Students for showing an interest in our camp and making it as Awesome as it was!! Also, thank you to Longview Independent School District and the school board members for allowing us to show you what they have learned! Looking forward to next year already!!

We may not have been posting as much this year, but it's only because we have been twice as busy. Here are some photos from our Kids Culinary Camp that we just held for students entering the 5th grade!! I had a blast, and so did the students!!!

Chef Chardee Snoddy hosted her first culinary camp this week. Students in grades 4-5 (incoming) were able to learn kitchen safety, plating, recipe basics, knife skills, and more.

They prepared their meals each day and on their final day prepared a feast for their parents. They will also prepare a meal for the Board of Trustees during their monthly meeting on Monday.

It's National School Lunch Week! If you get the chance to dine in one of our lovely cafeterias, be sure to take a pic and tag us in it.
