Six months later, she's the one other students watch.

That shift doesn't happen by accident. It happens when the right training meets someone ready to grow.

Most fades fail before the clippers start. βœ‚οΈ

Knowing where High, Mid, and Low sit on the head changes everything.

High = above the temples.
Mid = at the temple.
Low = below the temple.

Then walk your guards down. 3 β†’ 2 β†’ 1.5 β†’ 1 β†’ 0.5 β†’ 0.

Blend is just a walk down the head. That's it.

Save this for your next cut and tag someone who needs it. πŸ’ˆ

Most fades fail before the first cut. βœ‚οΈ

The fix is simpler than you think.

Pick your three lines. HIGH, MID, LOW.

Then walk down in half-guards: 3 β†’ 2 β†’ 1.5 β†’ 1 β†’ 0.5.

No guessing. No harsh lines. Just a clean blend every time.

Save this before your next cut. πŸ’‘

Your shampoo might be making it worse. πŸ’§

Dry, frizzy hair and brassy blonde tones need completely different fixes. Using the wrong formula keeps the problem coming back.

Dry or frizzy hair? Reach for the CHI Moisturing line. It floods hair with moisture and smooths the frizz.

Yellow or brassy tones? Grab the CHI Color Protect. It neutralizes warmth and restores a clean, cool blonde.

Pro tip: leave it 1 to 3 minutes, then rinse with cool water for the best result.

Which one does your hair need right now? Drop it below. πŸ‘‡

Good morning! It’s a long one.

Let’s have a conversation that most trade school owners need to have in today’s financial aid climate.

Schools β€” whether financial aid funded or private pay β€” still have bills, payroll, compliance costs, and operational risks. Trade school owners take a risk every time they allow students or responsible parties to make payments while attending school.

Schools that pursue accreditation invest thousands into that process to gain access to financial aid funding, but with that also comes oversight and regulations. With upcoming legislation impacting trade schools, especially beauty and barber programs, schools and students alike may have to pivot in ways they are not used to.

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing β€” but it IS an eye opener.

Education is an investment. Financial aid is not β€œfree money.” Those loans are repaid later, often with interest. And just because a school is cheaper does not automatically make it better β€” and higher tuition does not automatically make a school worse. Students should understand what they are paying for and how it impacts their future.

I can only speak on behalf of Cureosity.

We are private pay because, long term, I personally do not believe traditional student loan debt benefits many students entering this industry. As someone who attended beauty school and higher education institutions myself, I understand how easy it is to accept loans without thinking long term. Years later, I’m still paying for those decisions.

That’s why every student who comes to Cureosity sits down with me to discuss the real financial side of school β€” tuition, payment plans, budgeting, and expectations. Our tuition was originally higher because I know the value of what we offer, but we adjusted pricing to better balance the realities of everyday living while still supporting our staff and operations.

Our students, depending on program eligibility, can receive up to 20 months interest-free to pay for school. Some people in business think we’re crazy for that β€” but I believe accessibility should still come with accountability and planning.

And if private pay is not the best fit for a student or their family, we can connect them with banking institutions that may better assist with educational financing.

The goal is not just getting students INTO school. The goal is helping them graduate without creating unnecessary financial hardship while preparing them for long-term success.

Everything in life requires sacrifice, structure, discipline, and responsible decisions. Those things make the success on the other side even sweeter.
