🩺❤️ Our preschool friends are playing doctor!

As our little ones take on the role of doctors, they’re learning about community helpers and how doctors help keep us healthy and take care of us when we’re sick. Through pretend play, they’re using their imaginations, building social skills, and learning about the important jobs people do in our community! 👩‍⚕️🩹

🩺❤️ ¡Nuestros amigos de preescolar están jugando a los médicos! Mientras nuestros pequeños asumen el papel de médicos, aprenden sobre las personas que ayudan a la comunidad y cómo los doctores contribuyen a mantenernos sanos y a cuidarnos cuando estamos enfermos. A través del juego simbólico, dan rienda suelta a su imaginación, desarrollan habilidades sociales y aprenden sobre las importantes labores que realizan las personas en nuestra comunidad. 👩‍⚕️

Our Toddler 3 friends have been diving into our "Family and Home" unit, learning all about what makes a home special! To bring their learning to life, our wonderful teachers built a custom cardboard house, and our toddlers took the studio outdoors to give it a bright, colorful paint job! 🖌️✨

Outdoor painting is such a fantastic way for young learners to practice gross motor skills, explore sensory textures, and collaborate on a big group project together.

Nuestros amiguitos del aula de Toddler 3 han estado explorando nuestra unidad sobre "La Familia y el Hogar", ¡aprendiendo todo sobre lo que hace que un hogar sea especial! Para darle vida a su aprendizaje, nuestras maravillosas maestras construyeron una casita de cartón y nuestros pequeños llevaron el taller al aire libre para darle una alegre capa de pintura llena de color. 🖌️✨

Pintar al aire libre es una forma fantástica para que los niños pequeños practiquen sus destrezas de motricidad gruesa, exploren texturas sensoriales y colaboren en un gran proyecto grupal.

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Comic Book Day at Jump Start!🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Friday was full of superheroes at Jump Start! Our kids had so much fun dressing up as their favorite superheroes and showing off their super powers. From capes to costumes, we had a whole building full of little heroes!

We loved seeing everyone’s creativity and watching the kids have so much fun celebrating Comic Book Day! ❤️💥

🖐️🎨 5Senses in Action! 🎨🖐️

Our Pre-K learners are diving into their five senses, and yesterday was all about exploring the world through hands-on discovery! Some of our friends explored with colorful finger paint, while others squished through fluffy shaving cream—and believe it or not, these activities engaged ALL FIVE SENSES:

Touch: Feeling the cool, smooth texture of finger paint versus the soft, airy, squishy shaving cream.

Sight: Watching bright paint colors spread across paper and seeing lines, shapes, and letters appear in the foam.

Smell: Noticing the clean, fresh scent of shaving cream and the distinct aroma of paint.

Hearing: Listening to the fun squish-squish of hands on the table, the hiss of the shaving cream can, and the popping of tiny bubbles.

Taste: We practiced safety by talking about non-edible materials—when we asked the kids what they thought shaving cream and paint would taste like if they ate it, they gave us a unanimous vote: GROSS! 😆

Hands-on experiences like these build descriptive vocabulary, strengthen fine-motor muscles for writing, and make early science so much fun.

What a Foamtastic time we had! Our kids had an absolute blast playing, laughing, and getting covered in foam! 🤩🫧💦

Ms. Marisela is bringing learning to life with one of our favorite Frog Street curriculum puppets! 💚 Through puppets, stories, songs, and hands-on activities, our little learners get to explore, engage, and have fun while building important early learning skills. 🥰
