¡Buenos días! Good morning!

Our classrooms are starting the day with our Spanish Welcome Song! 🎵

At Sunset Academy, we’re proud to incorporate Spanish learning into our curriculum for every age group — from our littlest learners all the way through Pre-K.

Through songs, stories, vocabulary, movement, and everyday classroom activities, children are introduced to Spanish in a fun, natural, and age-appropriate way. Early exposure to a second language helps build communication skills, confidence, cultural awareness, and a lifelong love of learning.

Being a bilingual school means Spanish isn’t just a special activity — it’s part of what we do! We love watching our students learn new words, sing along, and become more confident each week.

¡Buenos días, Sunset Academy!

Did you know? Our very own Miss Jenn is not only part of our amazing team, but also a certified CPR & First Aid instructor! She’s excited to share her knowledge with Sunset Academy families through a special babysitting training course designed for kids ages 11–16.

This hands-on session will teach your child the same vital safety skills—like CPR and First Aid—that our staff uses every day. It’s the perfect way for young babysitters to gain confidence, learn how to respond in emergencies, and show parents they’re truly prepared to care for others responsibly.

Give your child the gift of safety and responsibility! The training will take place right here at Sunset Academy (711 S Sunset St, Longmont, CO).

Spots are limited—be sure to check the flyer below for dates and registration info, and sign up soon!

🍁🍃 Autumn adventures are in full bloom at Sunset Academy! 🍃🍁

Our halls are alive with laughter, creativity, and the colors of fall. We love seeing our children marvel at nature and express themselves through seasonal activities! 🧡✨

🌰 The Pandas discovered the wonders of nature, gathering acorns outside for their sensory bin—what a fun way to explore textures and shapes!

🎨 Tiny artists crafted charming scarecrows, each bursting with individual flair and imagination.

🌳 Our talented Pre-K kiddos brought fall indoors by making vibrant Fall Trees decked out in fiery reds, oranges, and yellows.

At Sunset Academy, every day is a new opportunity to learn through play, discovery, and hands-on fun. We’re grateful for the curiosity and joy our students bring to every activity.

We’d love to hear from you: what fall activities does your child enjoy most? Drop your favorites in the comments!

🌞 Learning doesn’t stop when we head outside! 🌿

Outdoor play is such an important part of our days at Sunset Academy! Whether our kiddos are building, digging in the sand, making music, moving their bodies, or simply exploring with their teachers, they’re learning through every experience.

Outside time helps children build gross motor skills, creativity, confidence, social skills, problem-solving, and a love for being active — all while having FUN!

We love seeing our teachers get right in there to play, explore, and learn alongside our little ones.

☀️ Fresh air + movement + play = some of the best learning!

Building language one story at a time!

Reading to babies is about so much more than enjoying a good book! Each time our teachers read, our littlest learners are hearing new words, sounds, rhythms, and expressions — all helping build the foundation for early language and communication.

Even before babies can talk, they’re listening, learning, and making important connections.

We love making books a part of our infants’ everyday experiences at Sunset Academy!
