My name is Hannah M***e, I am a wife, doggy mom, and a soon to be mother to a precious little boy, named Kai who is due to arrive in December of 2017. I am located in Longmont, CO where I live with my husband, Ian who is a high school auto/diesel teacher, and our two dogs, Maverick and Jasmine. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am very active and love spending time outdoors, hiking, volunteering at the local humane society, completing crafts and projects, and staying on top of current research related to education and child development. I babysat and volunteered at our local elementary schools throughout high school and began providing professional childcare and nanny services upon graduating high school and entering college. I attended the University of Northern Colorado where I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in May of 2014. Upon graduating college, I've stayed up to date on research specifically related to the early childhood education field and research child development. I am taking courses part-time to obtain my licensure in Early Childhood Education to become a licensed teacher within the colorado elementary school system.Professional positions I have had in the past include; Preschool paraprofessional, preschool special education paraprofessional , substitute teacher within the St. I've worked as a lead preschool teacher at an Early Childhood Education Center in town, an area representative for an exchange student organization, and my true passion a professional nanny and house manager. As a professional nanny I have experience in providing care for newborns through teenagers. I've worked with families who have twins, children who were adopted, children within the foster care system, children with special needs, severe food allergies, learning disabilities, and delays. I support all parenting styles and have experience using cloth diapers and proper care for these, disposable diapers, homemade baby food, store bought baby food, organic baby food, breastmilk handling procedures and storage, formula procedures, introducing new foods, I've worked with families who vaccinate on a schedule, delayed, or not at all due to medical reasons or personal beliefs, families with various religious beliefs to agnostic/atheist beliefs, I've worked with parents who practice attachment parenting and co-sleeping, as well as parents who believe and swear by cry-it out. I can work with all types of parenting styles from natural, holistic, to conventional, and main stream. The point being I am flexible in working with a variety of styles and complementing your style during my time with your children. As a parent you know what works best for your child and your family. I believe in supporting that, regardless of my own preferences I may have or develop. I believe in communication, respect, consistency, and reliability. My belief is not to impose my personal beliefs onto you, but rather support you in whatever beliefs you practice as long as no harm is coming to the child. In my experience I have not worked with a family who hasn't wanted the best for their child. Through all of these professions I've found that I really love working within a specific family and truly being apart of the day to day life making a difference and helping children meet milestones. By working within a home environment in this way it really allows you to create relationships with families and children and truly make a difference in their growth and development. I would love to meet you and your family and assist with your needs. I am looking for a long-term position starting immediately or after the birth of my own child. I anticipate being unavailable due to recovery the following 4-6 weeks after my child is born, his expected due date is December 15th. I look forward to hearing from you and your family.Thank You,Hannah M***e
