We’re excited to share that Crossroads School will be back at Unity in the Community next week! This free, family-friendly festival is one of Longmont’s biggest summer traditions, and we’d love for you to stop by, say hello, and help us celebrate alongside so many amazing local businesses and organizations.

"Crossroads helped me get my feet back on the ground, keep pushing forward, and work toward earning my diploma. At my old school, I had trouble mending some of the bridges I had broken and wasn't really moving forward. When I came to Crossroads, it was a different vibe."

Please welcome our host for the July 21st event in Longmont, Barb Bulthuis the Executive Director of Crossroads School!

🎓 Barb told us that Crossroads School is an alternative middle and high school, serving students who are not "making it" in traditional schools for a variety of reasons.
💡🎨 According to Barb, these are smart, creative, and interesting kids who just don't fit in traditional education.
💔 Barb shared that many of these students begin to believe they are the problem and start to lose hope, when, in her view, it is the educational system that is not meeting their needs.

💪✨ She explained that the Crossroads staff work hard to help rebuild students' hope, confidence, and skills while supporting them as they earn a diploma 🎓 and develop a positive plan 📈 for their future.

💜 TableTop Networking is grateful that, with the school on summer break, the building is available again this year for Crossroads School to host a TableTop Networking event, where we bring the business community together for a marketing event that promotes and supports the school.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Meanwhile, Barb mentioned that if you know families looking for something different for their children's education, they can learn more through the school's website below.

📚 According to Barb, she is happy to talk with families about the various educational options available throughout the greater Longmont area.
❤️ Barb told us she is passionate about helping young people find an educational setting that works for them, wherever it may be.

We're back with another graduate spotlight, and today we're celebrating Lyrik! 🎓✨

"Crossroads taught me that I can achieve my goals If I just don't give up. They taught me that even when some of the work is confusing or difficult, I need to keep going because no one is going to get me to the finish line except for me. Thank you to the whole school of Crossroads, to the staff and the volunteers that have helped me cross that finish line."

As we continue sharing our graduates' stories, today we're celebrating Oliver! 🎓🤩

Oliver came to Crossroads looking for a smaller school community to grow and build confidence and is now looking ahead to an exciting future:

"I’m going to go to University of Colorado Colorado Springs in August, where I will be double majoring in psychology and sociology. Eventually I’m going to become a criminal psychology researcher, but I’m pretty sure I’ll need a PhD for that, so college is all I’m thinking about for now."

"After I graduate, I plan to get a job and then go to college at Front Range in Longmont in the Fall. The career I want to pursue is sports commentating or photography."

We're just getting started celebrating our recent graduates! 📣

Today we want to highlight Tallie:

"Knowing my teachers and being known by them has really helped me over the years. I love having all these close relationships. Being able to go at my own pace is also helpful for me, and I could not skip classes anymore because my teachers noticed when I was gone, so, I was able to get caught back up."

2025 grad Aniyaharie Duran stopped by to visit us recently; she will graduate from IBMC with her cosmetology certificate this spring, but then plans to enlist in the army medical corps. She is scheduled to go to MEPS soon! Way to go, Aniyaharie! 🎉
