"Knowing my teachers and being known by them has really helped me over the years. I love having all these close relationships. Being able to go at my own pace is also helpful for me, and I could not skip classes anymore because my teachers noticed when I was gone, so, I was able to get caught back up."

2025 grad Aniyaharie Duran stopped by to visit us recently; she will graduate from IBMC with her cosmetology certificate this spring, but then plans to enlist in the army medical corps. She is scheduled to go to MEPS soon! Way to go, Aniyaharie! 🎉

"I went from not caring at all to actually wanting to finish my work and improve, which is something I didn’t expect. And even when I messed up, you didn’t just give up on me. That balance of being strict when needed but still supportive is something I really appreciate. It’s a big reason I was able to turn things around and get to where I am now."
