Huge thanks to SCLA Ambassador Elias Vigil and team for taking on our SCLA storage room as his Eagle Scout Project! The room is cleaner, more organized, and significantly less terrifying. Need pool noodles, marbles, duct tape, or astroturf? Oddly enough, I’m your girl! Thanks, Elias!

Our Silver Creek community is deeply saddened by the loss of Tyler Templeton, son of SCHS staff member Kathy Templeton and her husband, Tim.
Tyler was 29 years old and attended Silver Creek High School. He loved golf, hockey, gaming, and most importantly, his family. Those who knew Tyler describe him as kind, loving, gentle, and someone who brought joy to the people around him.
In Tyler’s memory, the family hopes to support other young adults who may be facing loneliness, mental health struggles, or feelings of isolation. Their hope is that by encouraging awareness, connection, and support, others may find help sooner and know they are not alone.

Tomorrow at Silver Creek High School, we kick off our 25th anniversary celebration with something special, the launch of our inaugural Hall of Fame!
There’s no better way to celebrate 25 years than by honoring the people and teams who helped define excellence here and beyond.
Join us as we induct:
• Our 2008 State Championship Soccer Team
• Our 2012 State Championship Football Team
• And individually, two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Valarie Allman
We are excited that Valarie and members of both teams will be in attendance tomorrow to commemorate this amazing milestone.
The Induction Ceremony begins at 4:00 PM in the main gym.
This event is free and open to everyone: families, alumni, students, staff, community members, and anyone who wants to be part of celebrating what makes this community special.
