SCLA 9th graders are officially in their first teams!

First challenge: create a team logo that represents who they are.

They’re learning that a logo is more than something that looks cool, it communicates identity, purpose, and personality.

SCLA 11th graders are kicking off the school year by creating the WORST. PRESENTATIONS. EVER.

Their assignment? Break at least FIVE presentation rules and proudly present something truly terrible. Bad fonts. Too much text. Awful colors. Distracting animations. Reading directly from the slides. If it makes the audience cringe, they’re doing it right.
Why start with what NOT to do? Because once you’ve mastered the art of a terrible presentation, it’s a whole lot easier to recognize what makes a great one.

Sometimes leadership starts with learning exactly what not to do.
