Team TLC celebrated our final graduation at our 611 Korte Pkwy location on Friday afternoon. What a privilege it’s been to watch these young scholars grow and learn over the last four years! We can’t wait to see what lies ahead for them as they embark on their next journey…kindergarten!
Graduation is always bittersweet watching our graduates move on, but this year was especially bittersweet as Friday was the last day of business at our Korte Pkwy location. Lots of memories in these halls, but we look forward to making many new memories at our brand new facility. We will reopen on Monday, June 8, as we welcome children and their families to our new location at 1444 E. 3rd Avenue. Stay tuned as we prepare to move our entire school and therapy center in the span of five days!!

Educational Services Assistant Manager Emily Flake was recently featured in a story on Colorado Public Radio about the childcare crisis in our state, which is part of a larger series they are sharing to shed light on the severity of the situation. Thanks to Emily for advocating for families in our community and hats off to all the Colorado caregivers who are struggling to make ends meet while trying to afford childcare.
Raising Colorado: The untold costs of a broken childcare system
The state’s current funding model forces some families to choose between care and a paycheck, while low wages and strict staff-to-child ratios squeeze providers.

In honor of today's Young Athletes Celebration, we just had to post this fan favorite of one of our TLC kids soaking up the fabulousness that is Young Athletes! Just look at that smile!!! It's an accurate representation of how our kids feel about this one-of-a-kind program!
Today is our annual Young Athletes Celebration, where all of our preschool athletes will come together to honor the year's achievements! Thanks to Special Olympics Colorado for providing us with the Young Athletes curriculum, which supports gross motor development and physical education, while fostering social-emotional skills like teamwork, patience, and having a growth mindset.
