We had a great time hosting Social Venture Partners (SVP) Boulder County's Creating Connections event on Thursday at the Early Learning Collaborative.

SVP's mission is to "harness the collective power of nonprofits and philanthropic changemakers to accelerate community impact," which they do through coaching, leadership support, in-depth consulting, and creating community connections.

Thanks to for the work they do to make Boulder County's nonprofits, and our community, stronger for everyone!

Check out these fun photos from our Donor and Founder Dinner on Thursday, July 23! Without their generosity and vision, the new Early Learning Collaborative would not have been possible! We especially enjoyed capturing photos of donors under their names on our donor wall. A few of those pictured include Linda Fetterman, Stewart Family Foundation Board member Linda Snyder, Reggie and Sarah Golden and family, and members of the Sunshine Club.

Exciting news! In a partnership with the City of Longmont, TLC was awarded one of a few Employer Based Child Care grants through the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC)!

Thanks to Dr. Rebecca Vlasin, Division Director, Early Childhood Workforce for CDEC and Alyssa Pappas, Employer-Based Child Care Program Manager for CDEC for coming to our 70th Anniversary and Grand Opening on Saturday, July 25. We'd also like to send an enormous shoutout to the Colorado Department of Early Childhood for their support of high-quality early learning opportunities for all Colorado children!! Thank you!!

Join us for a town hall sponsored by the Early Childhood Council of Boulder County to learn more about the recently approved early childhood ballot initiative that Boulder County Commissioners have approved to be placed on the upcoming ballot in November.

Learn more about the potential tax, where the funding would go, how it will be monitored, and data that helped determine the priority areas for this initiative.
