Busy Babies Bilingual Day Care Commitments

We are committed to health & safety above all, without exception.

We are committed to making learning FUN! To supporting children of all learning styles to develop curiosity, creativity and confidence.

We are committed to clear, kind, professional and direct communication with the children we serve and with their parents.

We are committed to lots of time in nature.
At least 30 minutes outdoors every day weather permitting. (It is often much more than that! We strive to keep to our daily field trips routine. (Library story time, neighborhood paths and parks)

We are committed to no more than 20 minutes of screen time each day. (Screen time is limited to interactive learning songs that guide the children in dance and movement and compliment the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes etc that we explore in both Spanish and English.)

We are committed to building healthy relationships. We work in service of the whole family system, and do all that we can to support the wellness of the community as a whole.

We are committed to working as a team with parents & guardians to ensure that each child and their families are getting their unique health, developmental, behavioral, learning, social, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs met.

Busy Babies is a Spanish/English Bilingual Home Day Care run by preschool teacher Cristina Lopez. Cristina aka “Ms.Tina” has 25+ years of experience in early childhood development and has been running Busy Babies out of her home in Longmont for 20 years.

Ms.Tina prides herself in creating a home away from home for the children she serves. Her approach is refreshingly simple and effective. It is apparent to anyone who observes her at work that she is gifted at what she does. Her grounded, and easeful way of being in relationship with children creates a mutually respectful, harmonious and kind community culture. She meets the ever shifting needs of each moment with flexibility, creativity and hard earned wisdom.

BBB is a good match for families that value: Close knit community, time in nature, curious-child led exploration and learning, building confidence & independence through the cultivation of practical skills, imaginative free play, embodiment, social and emotional literacy, a love for the arts and Spanish language immersion.

Rare opportunity! Busy Babies currently has spots available! We are accepting applications for children 3 months-4 years old. Year Round, Monday - Friday 8am-4pm (flexible) Enrollment only tends to open up every 3 years when a cohort moves on to kindergarten. Ideally, families stay with us from infancy until learners are ready for school. This supports optimal development of our babies and their social circle. Busy Babies often build lifelong friendships!
