Nueva Luna Folklorico I take great pride in the progress and success of a person as a whole human being. Allowing each dancer to feel loved and accepted in this world.

Encouragement of self-love through words and music. I have personally found my worth until later in life. I want to empower my dancers at a younger age to begin to value themselves earlier Giving love and making dancers feel valued to increase self-esteem. Allowing each dancer to feel emotions and accepting every single imperfection they may feel about themselves. Providing dancers to be in a safe place where there is no judging, blame, anger, tension, and giving a sense of belonging.

Thank you to Katelyn R for putting this show together! This was fun in every single way. A huge thank you to the teenage dancers in our group who help guide the student through the steps and skirt work. Every student put in their best effort and accomplished a new dance and a short time frame. We are proud of you and you proved you can’t do hard things! 

¡Gracias a Katelyn R por organizar este programa! Esto fue divertido en todos los sentidos. Muchas gracias a los bailarines adolescentes de nuestro grupo que ayudan a guiar al estudiante a través de los pasos y el trabajo de la falda. Cada estudiante hizo su mejor esfuerzo y logró un nuevo baile y un marco de tiempo corto. Estamos orgullosos de ti y has demostrado que no puedes hacer cosas difíciles!

Encontrar la mejor atención médica para su familia puede resultar frustrante. El 10 de agosto de 9am a 3pm., El Comité de Longmont está organizando una Feria de Salud exclusivamente en español en el estacionamiento de la Iglesia Heart of Longmont en calle de Emery St. entre 11th Ave. y Colony Pl.
La Feria de la Salud 2024 se centrará en reducir las barreras para acceder a los recursos de salud. Salud Pública del Condado de Boulder ofrecerá información y vacunas. Hopelight Clinic ofrecerá exámenes físicos escolares gratuitos. Las familias también pueden disfrutar de deliciosa comida en una variedad de loncheras, bailar con grupos de bailes folklóricos y participar en clases de ejercicio.

Finding the best healthcare for your family can be frustrating. On August 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., El Comité de Longmont is hosting a Spanish-only Health Fair in the parking lot of Heart of Longmont Church on Emery St. between 11th Ave. and Colony Pl.
The 2024 Health Fair will focus on reducing barriers to accessing healthcare resources. Boulder County Public Health will offer information and vaccines. Hopelight Clinic will offer free school physicals. Families can also enjoy delicious food from a variety of food trucks, dancing with local cultural dance groups and participate in exercise classes.
