The Longmeadow Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) is a private, volunteer, non-profit (tax exempt 501-C-3) organization established in 2001 to enrich, enhance, and support the quality of education in the Longmeadow, MA, public schools. LEEF is committed to underwriting grants to provide our schools (K-12) with extraordinary opportunities beyond the scope of our tax supported budgets.

Big ideas are happening in Longmeadow Public Schools!

This year, LEEF received 32 grant proposals totaling nearly $98,000 in requested funding, with projects reaching students across all six Longmeadow schools.

Our educators submitted an incredible range of ideas designed to enrich learning and create new opportunities for students—from STEM and robotics, literacy and music, to flexible learning spaces, student leadership, gardening, world languages, health education, civic engagement, and so much more.

We are continually inspired by the creativity and dedication of Longmeadow’s educators and their willingness to think beyond the traditional classroom to create meaningful experiences for their students.

A huge thank you to every educator who took the time to develop and submit a proposal—and to our LEEF volunteers and community supporters who make this work possible.

Does pick up and drop off make you nuts?!? Don't you wish there was a way to make it easier to pick up your child?!? The Longmeadow Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) is holding an opportunity drawing for exclusive, private parking spots in your child's elementary school! The winner from each school will have a specially reserved parking space for their exclusive use throughout the 2025–26 school year. Funds raised will help LEEF support innovative programs and projects proposed by your teachers. Not only can you buy tickets to increase your chances, but LEEF is awarding a FREE TICKET to every family in LPS!

What an incredible night!

Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, and helped make the LEEF Dueling Pianos fundraiser such a success. The room was filled with music, laughter, and so much community spirit as we sang along, made requests, and supported an important cause together.

We are especially grateful to our generous sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who made this event possible. Because of you, LEEF can continue funding innovative programs and opportunities that enrich the educational experience for Longmeadow students.

It was truly a night to remember — and we can’t wait to do it again!

Join us from 6:00–9:00 PM at Twin Hills Country Club for an unforgettable evening of incredible food, fun, and dueling pianos!

🥂 6:00–7:00 PM | Cocktail Hour
Cash Bar
Enjoy a beautiful welcome table featuring:
• Domestic & imported cheeses, baked brie en croute
• Fresh vegetables with gourmet dips & assorted crackers
• Passed hors d’oeuvres including bacon-wrapped scallops, buffalo chicken spring rolls, garlic beef kabobs, and fried camembert

What is Dueling Pianos?? Dueling pianos is a high-energy, interactive live music show featuring two pianists (usually with baby grand pianos facing each other) who take song requests from the audience and “duel” by playfully competing to perform them.
