We have great news! We are growing, and we need more therapists!

We may be a little picky about who we choose because we feel our clients deserve the best. So... if you know an OT or OTA who has good time management skills, is reliable, and is open to learning new things, send them our way. About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing practice, supporting both children and adults. This role focuses on emotional regulation, sensory processing, and functional participation across daily environments. The ideal candidate is grounded in a strengths-based, client-centered approach and values neurodiversity.

The ideal candidate will be available 5-10 hours a week and must be available on at least 2 consistent days between the hours of Monday to Friday, 3 or 4p.m.- 7 p.m and/or Sat morning 9-2. (at the latest), with flexibility. We are looking to fill this position ASAP, so that we can finalize fall scheduling. This practitioner should be like-minded, holistic in nature, who likes to play and have fun.

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluation and intervention for children and adults (OT)
-Support clients in developing emotional regulation, sensory processing, and self-awareness skills
-Design and implement neuro-affirming, strengths-based treatment plans
-Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other professionals to support carryover across environments
-Deliver caregiver education and coaching using respectful, collaborative approaches
-Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with practice policies
-Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive therapeutic environment
-Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (OT)
-Supervise Occupational Therapy students

Qualifications:
-Current state licensure (or eligibility)
-Strong clinical reasoning and ability to individualize interventions
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to manage time effectively and maintain organized documentation
-Able to work independently and collaboratively
-Able to complete your notes and other documentation on time
-Must be able to think on your feet
-Must be self-disciplined and be able to multitask
-Must be comfortable talking with children, and possible open to working with adults
-Experience working with neurodivergent children
-Must be comfortable treating with child-led play vs. therapist-led

Preferred Experience:
-Experience working with neurodivergent populations
-Training in sensory integration, interoception, or trauma-informed care
-Familiarity with neuro-affirming and strengths-based frameworks
-Experience providing caregiver coaching and education
-2-3 years of experience; willing to support a new grad who may be the right fit for our team.

Seeking an OT/OTA with pediatric experience. This position would be 25-30+ a week in Longmeadow. Mentorship will be offered weekly. Our practice is 95% sensory processing and emotional regulation tots to adults, with our primary age range tots to teens. We additionally have a few fine motor, feeding, core strengthening, motor planning/ coordination and ocular motor kids. We are really looking for someone to grow with the practice. This practitioner should be like-minded, holistic in nature, who likes to play and have fun.

Required skills:

We have been interviewing practitioners for what it seems like months and our needs for this position keep growing! Additionally, we are losing one of our therapists in a few weeks as she is moving out of state😒 It is really important that our clients feel supported during this transition, so we need to hire soon.
