From the time I attempted to teach myself cursive in the first grade (it just looked so pretty!), I've been fascinated with the art of fine lettering and penmanship. In high school, I could often be found fastidiously copying and re-copying my notes in varying styles of handwriting. Borderline obsessive-compulsive behavior aside, I guess it was only a matter of time before my love of the (literall

y) written word became more than just a casual hobby. In 2008, a friend from college asked me to address her wedding invitations, and things just took off from there! Calligraphesque was officially "born" in 2009. Countless happy brides, multiple corporate clients (including The Knot Industry Gala 2011), and two 'The Knot Best of Weddings' awards later, here we are! When I'm not doing calligraphy, I enjoy vocal performance, theater, interior design, cheesy reality television, and spending time with family, friends, my wonderful husband, Greg, and our amazing son, Emmett!
