We’re excited to invite our staff, families, and the GUG community to join us for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, October 18! Come walk alongside our GUG community as we show our support for those affected by breast cancer and contribute to the American Cancer Society’s work in cancer research, patient support, and advocacy.

The walk will take place from 8 AM to 12 PM at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Parking may be limited, so public transportation is highly recommended. We hope to see you there!

We’re so excited to introduce you to Ms. Jamie Mascarenhas, our Director of Support Services at Growing Up Green I Charter Schools!

From the very first moment Ms. Mascarenhas stepped onto our campus, she felt something special: a true sense of family, joy, and community. The smiles in the hallways, the laughter in the classrooms, and the positive energy throughout the building made her know that Growing Up Green was where she wanted to be. 💚
