What a night.
Thank you to IEX for hosting our About U Fundraiser and to every single supporter who showed up with heart, commitment, and belief in our mission. Nights like this remind us why the work matters — and why community matters even more.

Your generosity helps us provide what so many young people deserve but don’t always receive:
• consistent academic support
• mentorship and guidance
• high-level physical preparation
• real pathways to high school and college opportunities

When our students feel a community standing behind them, they rise. They gain confidence, direction, and the belief that their goals are within reach. And that’s the core of About U — building futures through education, performance, and mentorship.

To everyone who donated, bid on auction items, or simply came to listen and learn: thank you. You are now part of the village pouring into these kids and helping us create generational change.

If you weren’t able to attend or still want to contribute, you can support the mission here:

With gratitude,

Seeing Tyler speak at the Blue Baby: A Fight for America’s Youth premiere was a powerful full-circle moment. His journey has been one of resilience, purpose, and leadership, and now he stands as a guiding light for the next generation.

The film tells the story of a Boys Town Family Home, highlighting the struggles many young people face and the truth that Father Flanagan believed in: “There are no bad boys. There is only bad environment, bad training, bad example, and bad thinking.” Tyler embodies that belief, proving through his actions that circumstances do not define a person’s future.

His voice, passion, and impact continue to inspire, ensuring that the mission lives on. The next generation is in good hands.

This weekend was another incredible milestone for the About U network as our pipeline of athletes at Georgetown Football continues to grow!

Our very own Arinze Maijeh was on his official visit with Coach George Lanese, taking a big step toward his future. While there, Arinze was joined by members of the current Georgetown family and NY natives, George Ruiz ( Iona ) and Will Wood (Fordham Prep), who represent the excellence of our program both on and off the field.

Additionally, we had Luke Daly (Fordham prep), a Villanova transfer, on his official visit, further strengthening the NY connection at Georgetown.

The About U network at Georgetown is expanding, and we are committed to helping student-athletes thrive in an environment that champions both academic excellence and athletic success.

A huge thank you to Coach Sgarlata for continuing to believe in NY products and the About U student-athletes. Your support fuels the dreams of these young men and strengthens the bond between our program and one of the nation’s premier academic institutions.

The future is bright, and we’re just getting started! 💪🏽✨
