Welcome to our Theatre Program at LaGuardia Community College #DareToDoMore 🎭

LaGuardia Community College's Theatre Program offers students a chance to explore the arts, both as a major and as electives. With classes in theater, dance, specific instruments like piano and guitar, and vocals, we offer students a chance to engage in the arts here at CUNY and hope to connect them with the larger community in New York City. Check here for information on upcoming shows, classes being offered, fun opportunities and how to connect with the program.

Join us for A Christmas Carol at PAC NYC on December 16 at 7pm for Community Night. We have 40 complimentary tickets available for LaGuardia Community College students.

From visionary Tony Award winners playwright Jack Thorne and director Matthew Warchus comes a magical interpretation of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic. This immersive production wraps the audience around the action, inviting the communal holiday spirit in us all.

On a bitter Christmas Eve, cold-hearted miser Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by four ghosts who transport him to worlds past, present, and future. He witnesses what a lifetime of fear and selfishness has led to and sees with fresh eyes the lonely life he has built for himself. Can he be saved before it’s too late?

This five-time Tony Award winner and New York Times Critics’ Pick features dazzling staging, moving storytelling, and 12 cherished Christmas carols including “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night,” and “It Came Upon the Midnight Clear.”

Important details: Students can sign up for ONE ticket. Sign-ups close November 20. Students who don’t show up won’t be eligible for future free tickets. Email Program CLT Sydnee Davis at [email protected] to reserve your ticket.
