Legal AI is booming — and so are the consequences of using it badly.

Billions are flowing into purpose-built legal AI platforms. At the same time, lawyers are still being sanctioned for submitting AI-generated cases and citations that simply don’t exist.

The lesson isn’t that lawyers should avoid AI. It’s that the tool has to match the job — and the output still has to be verified.

The real move is at the bottom of the range, as we've started seeing is a pattern this cycle. The 25th percentile LSAT jumped two points, 167 → 169.
