Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wraps the Tefillin that belonged to Moshiko Dino, a soldier killed in action, which he always carried with him. Moshiko's mother, Ruchama, gave them to Netanyahu, who promised to wear them in memory of Moshiko and all fallen soldiers.

🙏✨ What an unforgettable and inspiring Yom Kippur! ✨🙏

It was truly heartwarming to witness over 650 incredible souls coming together for our services. The overflow of attendees left us happily scrambling to find more seats - a "problem" we welcome with open arms! 🙌😅

But the real magic lay in the presence of the Monmouth University students who shared this sacred journey with us, from the pre-fast meal to the unforgettable break-fast last night. 🍽️🌙

Two brave students revealed that it was their very first time fasting and observing Yom Kippur. 🕍🤩 One of them, an athlete on the school team, pushed through the challenges and made the courageous decision to fast. Sandy Koufax, watch out! 🏆🙌

Their dedication and willingness to embrace this tradition fill our hearts with inspiration and hope for the future. 🌟❤️

Harvey Katz, OB”M 😢
Today our community lost a devoted and generous leader, a larger-than-life visionary and a true friend and mensch. Harvey, together with his wife Phyllis, was the driving force in creating Chabad of the Shore. His impeccable taste, warm eyes and bright smile greeted all who entered Chabad. His genuine love and warmth embraced every person he met. Deeply inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Harvey devoted his life to Jewish continuity and a strong Jewish tomorrow. His impact and inspiration will be felt for generations to come.
His funeral will be tomorrow, Monday at 12:00pm
