On March 11, 2019 The Society for Advancement of Managed (SAM) hosted Susie Arellano-Reed, Talent Acquisition Manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Ms. Arellano-Reed enthusiastically discussed with and provided SAM members tools to use to improve our resumes. First, now is the time to intern with organizations to gain experience related to your future career goals. When writing your resume, take time to do a self-assessment of yourself. Do your best to include concrete, quantifiable data such as awards, targets/quotas met, and include success stories too. Keep your resume professional! No nicknames, acronyms, or unprofessional email addresses. Lastly, use action verbs to describe your experience and tailor your resume to the employer and position you are seeking. Through an amazing talent acquisition process, Enterprise Holdings Inc has delivered best-in-class customer experience, built on trust and confidence, for over 60 years. A very special thank you to Ms. Arellano-Reed for speaking with us and answering our questions. Thank you to all SAM members who were able to come out and join us.
