🍓🍌 Cooking Class at Twigs to Trees! 🍎🫐

Our toddlers and preschoolers roll up their sleeves once a month for our T2T cooking classes! This month, they chopped, mixed and created their own Fruit Salad Cones and they were DELICIOUS!

Our preschoolers had an incredible month of July filled with exciting hands-on experiences! From kicking off their first Soccer Shots sessions to becoming little chefs in cooking class, meeting fascinating reptiles and exploring different cultures, every activity encouraged curiosity, confidence and joyful learning.

Whether they were building gross motor skills on the soccer field, strengthening fine motor skills in the kitchen, discovering amazing animals or celebrating the unique qualities that make us all special, our preschoolers embraced every opportunity to learn through play and exploration.

We can’t wait to see where their curiosity takes them next!

Cooking Up Something Special! 👨🏾‍🍳

Last month, our toddlers became little chefs as they prepared fruit bowls, fresh lemonade, vegan cupcakes and flourless pancakes.

While they were having fun measuring, pouring, stirring, mixing and serving, they were also building important skills like fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, early math and science concepts, problem-solving and teamwork. Every recipe was filled with opportunities to practice patience, communication, confidence and independence. Every recipe was also an opportunity to learn, grow and have fun together.

Last month, our Sprouting Seedlings explored the wonderful world of sound as they learned all about the sense of hearing!

Through music, movement, homemade sensory shakers, nature sounds, instruments and hands-on sensory experiences, our infants discovered that sounds can be loud, soft, fast, slow and everything in between. Watching them shake, tap, listen, dance, babble and explore with such curiosity was a beautiful reminder that learning begins long before words.

⚽🌳 Soccer Shots is officially here at Twigs to Trees! 🌳⚽

Our little athletes have been having so much fun learning new soccer skills, building confidence and staying active during their twice-monthly Soccer Shots sessions! 💚

Starting next week, the children and our staff will be sporting their Twigs to Trees Soccer Shots shirts, a special gift from Twigs to Trees, on Soccer Shots Days! This is just another one of the FREE enrichment opportunities we provide to our children at Twigs to Trees! We can’t wait to see everyone matching on the field. ⚽

🍋 🎨 Our July Family Engagement was a wonderful celebration of family and the simple joys of summertime!

Our youngest learners explored creativity through art, creating one-of-a-kind paintings with their families. Meanwhile, our toddlers and preschoolers squeezed, stirred and tasted fresh squeezed lemonade.
