Ms. Shalon!

“Hello, I’m Ms. Shalon, owner and teacher at Bixby Early Learning! Born and raised in Bixby Highlands, I’ve always had a deep passion for education and working with children. I spent over seven years teaching with LBUSD before welcoming my daughter, Abigayle. When I had trouble finding a daycare that met my expectations, I decided to open my own — a place where children could learn, play, and grow in a nurturing environment that truly feels like home.
For more than 10 years, I operated a successful daycare that received only positive feedback from families. Later, I expanded my experience by working in Behavior Therapy for three years, supporting children on the autism spectrum. While I loved that work, my heart has always belonged to early childhood care — and I’m so happy to be back doing what I love most!
At my daycare, I believe in partnering with parents to provide the very best care for each child. Every day includes hands-on learning, creative play, and activities designed to build confidence, curiosity, and kindergarten readiness. My goal is to create a joyful, safe, and enriching space where children can thrive and families feel supported.

Hello Neighbors!

We’re so excited to announce the grand reopening of our beloved daycare, Bixby Early Learning! That means immediate openings are now available—though space is very limited, so don't wait to reach out!

👩‍🏫 I’m Ms. Shalon, the owner of Bixby Early Learning. I bring over 10 years of experience running a daycare/preschool, plus 7+ years teaching with LBUSD. I also have 3+ years of experience in Behavior Therapy and am BCAT certified. We're proud to be fully licensed, CPR certified, and committed to ongoing training to continually enrich our program.

At Bixby Early Learning, we offer:
