Saying Goodbye to Liberal Studies Advisor, Aleah Garnica 🍎

The College will be saying Goodbye to our Liberal Studies Advisor, Aleah Garnica, this Fall. Aleah has provided over 8 years of service in the College of Education and over 10+ years overall at CSULB, moving from being an undergraduate Student Assistant to a professional Office Coordinator, and then eventually Academic Advising. The Advising world and working in student services has been a huge part of her life, and she will miss the Department (especially her team and the College staff) greatly.

Please be patient with the Department and remaining Liberal Studies Advisors – Nancy and Gabriel – as we adjust during this transition, determine new roles and responsibilities, and eventually open a search for a new permanent Lead. The Liberal Studies Advising Team will be under-staffed for an unknown timeframe this Fall, so we very much appreciate understanding and patience from all our students.
