Congratulations to our CCAP scholarship award winners: Ah’jon, Jada, Nychelle, and Connor!
These students committed themselves throughout the entire school year to preparing, practicing, and competing at a high level. Their hard work, discipline, and dedication have created outstanding opportunities for their futures.
Nychelle received a full scholarship to the Institute of Culinary Education in Los Angeles. Ah’jon received a partial scholarship to Monroe University in New York. Jada received the Milton Michael Mecchi Memorial Scholarship. Connor was recognized as one of the top four juniors in the CCAP and earned a one-week summer internship at Monroe University, along with a Southern California Gas Company scholarship.
In addition, Ah’jon, Jada, and Nychelle will also be graduating in June with their Associate Degrees for Transfer from Long Beach City College—an incredible accomplishment while completing high school.
We are extremely proud of each of these students and grateful for the way they represented Browning through their talent, leadership, and perseverance. We are thankful to CCAP for all they due to support students dreams. A huge thanks to Chef Stef and Chef Robles for mentoring and preparing our students all school year.
