Hello everyone! Yesterday was the first day of Latinx Heritage Month. Throughout 09/15/21 to 10/15/21, we will be featuring prominent Latinx musicians from different backgrounds through out Latino America and the world.
If you have any recommendations of musicians you’d like to see featured, comment below or message us! If you’d like to be featured singing or playing songs or pieces from Latinx musicians and composers, please reach out ❤️🌹🥰

Hope the first week of school has been off to a good start! We are happy to share we have our first event of the semester tomorrow, Thursday, August 26th from 5:30-6:30pm.

This event will be over zoom, but we are planning some in person events for the future, so keep a look out!

A very happy birthday to Kaitlyn Kimura, one of our retired treasurers! She’s an amazing composer with so much talent! We love seeing her pieces come together and are excited to see what she composes next! We love and miss you! ♥️🌹Hoping you had the best day ever! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Happy Birthday to last year’s treasurer Jamie! She just graduated this past spring and is currently in Colorado working with a music/art nonprofit to further the development of music in their community! We are proud of her and can’t wait to see her grow! Wishing her the best birthday, sending our love! ♥️♥️🌹🌹🥳🥳🥳

We are saddened to report the passing of Patroness Member Sarah Payne who passed away yesterday. Sarah was an alumna of Florida International University and The New School. She was initiated as a Patroness Member by the Miami Alumnae and Patroness Chapter, and was known for her extensive work with the Florida Grand Opera.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family. May her memory live on, and let us remember that when words fail music speaks.
