The University of West Alabama participated in an inspiring Caring Campus joint session on June 28, facilitated by coaches Colleen Hartfield and Jordan Horowitz. UWA President Dr. Ken Tucker compared Caring Campus to the Japanese concept of “kaizen,” a philosophy of continuous and significant improvement through small, incremental changes. We are deeply impressed with the dedication of UWA’s staff and leadership in implementing these small yet impactful changes to enhance the university’s culture for all students.

The Alamo Colleges District staff participated in their joint Caring Campus session on June 13, where staff and supervisors presented to District leaders on their plan for making Caring Campus pervasive at the Alamo District Office.
