Imperial Valley College staff demonstrated tremendous enthusiasm during their first Caring Campus Refresh session on July 10, facilitated by coach Bola King-Rushing. Their strong sense of community and eagerness to continuously improve underscore why they were awarded the prestigious Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence in 2023.

The University of West Alabama participated in an inspiring Caring Campus joint session on June 28, facilitated by coaches Colleen Hartfield and Jordan Horowitz. UWA President Dr. Ken Tucker compared Caring Campus to the Japanese concept of “kaizen,” a philosophy of continuous and significant improvement through small, incremental changes. We are deeply impressed with the dedication of UWA’s staff and leadership in implementing these small yet impactful changes to enhance the university’s culture for all students.

Northeast Lakeview College staff recently unveiled their new Caring Campus logo. As part of the Ascendium Education Group Grant, Northeast Lakeview College is contributing to IEBC’s work to explore how Caring Campus can engage and support students during the crucial first two weeks of their college term.

The Alamo Colleges District staff participated in their joint Caring Campus session on June 13, where staff and supervisors presented to District leaders on their plan for making Caring Campus pervasive at the Alamo District Office. It was an incredibly positive session that showcased the staff's unwavering dedication to student success.
