The University of West Alabama participated in an inspiring Caring Campus joint session on June 28, facilitated by coaches Colleen Hartfield and Jordan Horowitz. UWA President Dr. Ken Tucker compared Caring Campus to the Japanese concept of “kaizen,” a philosophy of continuous and significant improvement through small, incremental changes. We are deeply impressed with the dedication of UWA’s staff and leadership in implementing these small yet impactful changes to enhance the university’s culture for all students.

As part of the Ascendium Education Group Grant, Northeast Lakeview College is contributing to IEBC’s work to explore how Caring Campus can engage and support students during the crucial first two weeks of their college term.
