UPDATED: New City School Charter Issue Closes In Sacramento Parents, students and staff of Long Beach’s New City Public School returned last week from Sacramento disappointed.

A personalized copy will be sent to every NCS student's home from the district. If you have recently moved, please notify our office immediately.
For information about the choices, please attend one of the meetings - we regret that our office coordinators cannot assist you with district policy or placement information.

For 15 years, New City School has provided dual language education to any student in Long Beach. Like and share to show your support for NCS and tell our state education leaders that it is integral to our diverse community!

Two days! Please respond in comments here if you hoped to go to Sac in school-provided transportation but were not able to get a seat. Feel free to respond on behalf of other people, too, just be sure to CONFIRM. It is my understanding that everyone who has a seat now knows that they do. (Either up with delegation or in the big bus). Thanks!

The P.O.D.E.R mural project goal is to create a mural that reflects student’s perspectives of their communities with an eye to follow their dreams through a college education in order to continue empowering the well being of their neighborhoods.
