Tech Girls is for middle and high school girls who want to explore hands-on technology, engineering, and computing activities in a fun and supportive environment. Thanks to special grant funding, this program is offered at a low cost to help teen girls pursue their interests in STEM.

Booth Spotlight 🦈✨ The Shark Shack allows students to examine preserved shark specimens and to make connections between physical adaptations and the demands of survival in their environment. We also discuss stingrays, beach safety and the technology we use to tag and track sharks. We bring examples of these tags and go through key aspects of each and how they are chosen to help answer a scientific question.
