We love watching our preschoolers transform simple solo cups into towering masterpieces! Their little hands are busy, their minds are buzzing, and their hearts are full of joy.

Why is this play so important? Because each cup adds a layer to their creativity, development and teamwork skills.

Give preschoolers a soaking wet sponge on a warm afternoon and you’d be shocked at how much gets “cleaned up”! 😉😊

When legos start to feel a little ho-hum, adding a few dinosaurs to the mix will spice it up a bit!

During this month of celebrating love, this teacher had each student bring a printed family photo to frame and display in the classroom.

The photos have sparked conversations about different family dynamics and the love that binds us all together.

Each week of Summer Session runs from Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-1:00pm and focuses on hands-on play, summer time faves, and tons of fun! Pick and choose which weeks your like your child to participate, or sign-up for all six. We will also offer Summer Stay & Play hours from 1:00-4:00pm, if you need extended care.

Registration opens on Monday, March 3 so mark your calendars... You won't want to miss this!!

Valentines Day isn't just for moms and dads... Everyone can express and feel love! And what a better time of year to ask our preschoolers what they think love is.

Who need store-bought Valentines Day cookies?! These preschoolers can make their own! Just add fun, colorful sprinkles to pink playdough-- grab a heart-shaped cookie cutter and voila!!

We probably wouldn't recommend you take a bite though.😉

Look at these preschoolers go, mastering those dino steppers! It's such a joy to watch new skills emerge, and gross motor skills are no exception.

We are well into our space theme over here at Parkcrest Preschool, which means filling our literacy, math, sensory, and science centers with plenty of rocket ships, planets, astronauts and stars.
