There will be an event February 7 (Saturday) from 9 am til noon! It is another tree planting event~! We will be meeting Pacific Ave. and 33rd Street~ There will be other groups attending. If anyone needs rides or wake up calls please let me (Nicole Nguyen) know. Bring your friends for a hardworking event. We can go out for lunch after!

Just so you guys know, there will be a community food serving event coming up November 18th and 19th, so mark your calendars! It will be like last year. More information to come!

Hey Leos! We have an upcoming event~! Saturday, August 9th is the Lions annual bbq, and they need helpers! Set up begins around 8 am. The event , I believe is over at 3, but they will need some people to help clean up till about 4 pm! IF you guys can make it, please let Nicole know! ( Commenting or messaging also works). Our wonderful sponsoring Lions have also given us T-shirts, so we can show our pride at the event! It will be fun and exciting! Hope to see the Leos there!

Hey guys! We have an upcoming event, Haute Dog Halloweent, this Sunday (October 27) at Marina Vista Park, Long Beach. In this event, we will be helping other volunteers by helping them set up, registration, shirt sales or host a doggie watering station. As of right now, the time is TBD. If you need to carpool, message us or comment on this post. Parking is free along the streets. There will be lots of adorable doggies in their costumes, so come and join us in this event :)

GUESS WHAT~?!!!

We are having our SECOND meeting of the year THIS THURSDAY! In USU room 202, at 4:00 PM!!! We will be talking about our THIRD event, which is this SATURDAY from 10 AM to 2 PM! If you can't make it to the meeting, do not worry, just come to the event anyways! :D

We have our SECOND event, Lions Tree Planting, on September 21, 2013 (this Saturday) at 1407 E. 4th Street, Long Beach 90802 from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
In this event, we will be working alongside Lions members and the Long Beach community to plant trees. All tools and supplies will be provided in this event. So come and join us at this event help make a difference in the Long Beach community!

Our FIRST event of the semester is TOMORROW (Sorry about the late fb update). It is a beach clean up!! Where at? Bolsa Chica Beach by lot 23 from 9 am till 4 pm! Free parking is available if you print a form! You can come late, or leave early if you wish! Can't make it? Don't worry, we have beach clean ups every third Saturday of the month at Belmont Shores! However, instead of going to the beach clean up next week, we shall be doing some tree planting in Los Alamitos!!!
