CSULB Tau Beta Pi - CA Theta Chapter

Wondering if there are any officers in this organization or former officers. Due to pandemic, I think TBP and other honors society weren’t able to get the eligibility list so no new members were initiated for over a year. That being said, are there any officers in this organization? I’m talking to Professor Torabzadeh regarding the situation and want to help make this organization active again. I want to verify that there isn’t any officers and need former officers help regarding making this organization active. I’m currently president of Pi Tau Sigma and a member of TBP.

Greetings Tau Beta Pi,

I am an alumn from CSULB and a Tau Beta Pi member. I graduated in 2014 and I currently work at a warfare center in Port Hueneme, CA. This is near the ventura/oxnard area. I work for Naval Facilities at the Engineering Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC). We are a largely research and development entity within the Navy. I have a potential job opportunity for those of you who have graduated or those who will be graduating very soon.

Some of you may be aware of the government hiring freeze that has recently taken effect. However, temporarily this ban has been lifted for an intern program called Naval Aquisition Developement Program or NADP which I am a part of. This is an all inclusive intern opportunity with scheduled promotions including rotations and training. I work for the Public Works branch of EXWC with a focus on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. We are looking for Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers with some knowledge or experience in Power Systems. You must have a minimum of a 2.95 GPA and be a US Citizen. If you are interested send your resumes to me at

[email protected]

You will need to act quickly as this temporary exemption won't last long.
