So in 1976 I moved to San Diego and lived with my brother Jeff, I attended mission bay high school which had an award winning jazz band. I became friends with the drummer David
Lott and we had a great time killing all the other local high schools in competitions…. Anyway we recently got back in touch after 40+ years and he said his friend Dale asked if I wanted to buy my old Ricky bass back,,, I don’t even remember selling it to him but this was a no brainer, my 1 st pro bass my parents shelled out over $500+ for in 1973/74… it probably sat in its original case for 40+ years! Very fortunate to have the opportunity to reunite!
